Three categories, one of which you cannot turn off because the site would stop working. The other two are yours to decide.
What a cookie is
A small text file a website stores on your device so it can recognise the browser on a later request. Cookies cannot run programs, cannot read other files on your device and cannot carry a virus. Similar technologies — local storage, pixels — are covered by this policy too.
The categories we use
Strictly necessary
Required for the site to function: serving the correct page, balancing traffic across servers, protecting against automated abuse, and remembering the choice you made in the cookie banner. These run without consent because without them there is no site. They are deleted when your session ends, except the consent record, which lasts twelve months so you are not asked on every visit.
Analytics
Optional, and only set if you accept them. They tell us in aggregate which pages get read, how far down people scroll, which links get clicked and roughly where readers come from. We use this to decide what to write next and what to rewrite. IP addresses are truncated where the provider supports it, and we do not attempt to identify individuals. Typical lifetime: up to 14 months.
Attribution
Optional. When you follow a commercial link to an operator, a referral identifier is passed so the operator can tell the visit came from us and settle any fee due. It records the referral, not you — we receive no information about your account, your deposits or your play. Typical lifetime: up to 90 days.
What we do not do
- No advertising cookies and no retargeting pixels. You will not be followed around the internet because you read this site.
- No cookies that record what you do at an operator after you leave.
- No sale of cookie data to anyone.
Third-party cookies
Analytics and affiliate providers set cookies under their own domains and their own privacy policies. We choose providers that offer IP truncation and reasonable retention, but their processing is governed by their terms. Pages you reach by following a link away from this site are entirely outside our control.
Managing cookies
You can withdraw consent at any time by clearing site data for this domain in your browser, which resets the banner on your next visit. To control cookies generally:

Blocking all cookies will break parts of this site and a great many others. Blocking only analytics and attribution has no effect on anything you can see here.
Do Not Track
Browsers can send a Do Not Track signal, but there is no agreed standard for honouring it. We do not set optional cookies without consent regardless of whether the signal is present, so the practical outcome is the same.
